Landscape Soundscape Exhibition

Eyes and ears. These magical portals which mediate direct experience. They invite the world into us and invite us into the world... an entanglement so complex that with the right kind of stillness our separateness doesn't even exist. Can you tell that I get excited about this kind of thing?

Landscape / Soundscape was an exhibit at the Arthur Ross Gallery which asked contemporary sound artists to select a photograph from the University of Pennsylvania photography archive and interpret the photograph's capacity to visually convey a sense of sound. The installations also offer opportunity for sound art to complement and alter one’s perception of a photographic landscape. Arthur Ross Gallery asked me to create exhibit branding and materials that reflected this dynamic relationship.
